Summer Scheme: Dates for the 2017 Summer Scheme have been confirmed as Monday 7th to Friday 11th August. Registration and payment will be online via the club website. Cost is £30 and all children will receive a custom Watty t-shirt, a navy or pink baseball hat plus at least one day trip away. Further details will be confirmed in the coming days.

CCC Notice to Clubs: CCC have been dealing with an increasing number of 'abuse of referee' infractions over the past weeks. These incidents have included both verbal and physical abuse of referees as well as threatening behaviour towards referees. There is a 'zero tolerance' policy within the county on all types of abuse on referees/officials and clubs must take responsibility for the behaviour of their members and 'known partisans' as detailed in Rule 3.1(b) of the Official Guide. We would remind Club Chairpersons and Secretaries that they are ultimately held responsible for all activities of their club. CCC have discussed this matter at length and want to make clubs aware of the following protocol which will be used in dealing with the club; in addition to any proposed penalty on the individual(s) responsible for the infraction. •First Offence within a club: A Letter of Warning to club regarding the conduct of their members and known partisans. •Second Offence within a club: A Second letter of Warning with a proposed sanction which will be imposed on the club in the event of a further offence. This is likely to be a one month pitch closure, but will be at the discretion of CCC. •Third Offence - Implementation of Sanction proposed in the second letter. I would ask that you take the above message very seriously as we are rolling this policy out with immediate effect. Bríd bn Uí Néill, Runaí CCC.

Gaeltacht Bursary: Could all those who have applied for the Watty Graham's Gaeltacht bursary please contact Cultural Officer Louise Strathern on 07756400317. Louise requires a mobile contact number for each applicant ASAP. Go raith maith agat.

Friends of Africa: Message from Émer McGirr - I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone, especially all members of Watty Graham's, who have contributed to my fundraising. Overall I have collected an incredible £4,150 through a street collection (£1,500), my quiz in the club (£2,150) and also through other generous donations (£500). I will now be travelling to Zambia on the 5th July to work on projects such as working with street children alongside local charity, Friends of the Street Children. All the money I have raised will go directly to the projects carried out by Friends of Africa (FOA), and every donation is very much appreciated. Many thanks again, Émer McGirr.

Gear shop: The gear shop will be open on Friday evenings 7.30 to 8pm. There are some extra quantities of the new blue and pink 1/2 zips. First come, first serve. There are also jerseys, shorts, socks, gloves etc. in stock. For queries contact Conor Molloy 07810556039, Donal Convery 07833336106, Roisin Lagan 07759838461 or Louise Strathern 07756400317.
