Senior Football: Our seniors had a great win in the first round of the senior championship on Saturday evening. The opening period was low scoring as Dungiven set up ultra-defensive, however Glen soon got into their groove and fired over great points from Emmett Bradley, Stevie O'Hara and Phillip O'Connell. Half time score Glen 0-08 Dungiven 0-04. In the second period Dungiven had to chase the game leaving more space for Glen's forward unit and further scores came from Emmett and Stevie. Dungiven rallied and scored a great goal to reduce the deficit to three points however Glen showed great maturity and pulled away yet again with points from Ciaran McFaul, Danny Tallon, as well as scores from substitutes Conor Convery and Ryan Winton. Final score Glen 0-17 Dungiven 1-08. Glen scorers Emmett Bradley 0-07, Stevie O'Hara 0-03, Ciaran McFaul 0-01, Conor Convery 0-02, Danny Tallon 0-02, Ryan Winton 0-01 and Phillip O'Connell 0-01. Glen now play the winners of Loup and Glenullin in the quarter final.

Senior Camogie: The Senior Camogs travelled to Newbridge to take on Ballinascreen Seconds on Sunday evening. The game was played in terrible conditions however they were dominant throughout and won on a scoreline of Glen 7-10 Ballinascreen 0-03.
