The club would ask all Club Members to support and attend the Bingo.The Bingo is on weekly on Saturday nights commencing at 9pm with a Jackpot of £2,500 to be won in 42 numbers or less in the last house.The Bingo is a very important part of the clubs weekly activities.
What a weekend of Feile na nGael action just passed,Swatragh G.A.C. welcomed Westport Hurling Club from Co Mayo last Friday.The u-14 hurling team then played four games ,two on Friday afternoon and two more on Saturday which included a visit to Carryduff,County Down  where the lads had a great win over Ballycran.On Sunday morning,the team and supporters travelled to Garvaghey in County Tyrone where they were defeated by St Dominics Roscommon in the Shield quarter-final.The U-14 Hurling  Management would like to take this opportunity to thank both the players and parents for their efforts all weekend.A highlight of the weekend was the Big Breakfast on Saturday morning which was a great success and the Club would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in any way that helped out.
Club lotto numbers on Saturday past (20th June) were; 8,14,17 and 20. There was no Jackpot winner and the two lucky dip winners were John & Declan Kearney and Kym O'Boyle.The Jackpot next week is £2,800.
This coming weekend is surely going to be another busy one for a lot of club members.Congratulations to Derry Senior Hurlers on defeating Donegal in the quarter final of the Ulster Senior Hurling Championship last Sunday,they now play Down next Sunday in Owenbeg at 3.45pm in the Ulster semi-final,Derry minor hurlers are also scheduled to play their Ulster Championship semi-final against Armagh next Sunday in Owenbeg before the Senior semi-final.On the previous evening,(Saturday 27th June) Derry Minor and Senior footballers play their Ulster Championship semi-final  matches against Donegal in Clones with throw in times of 5.15pm for the Minor game and 7pm for the Senior Game.The club wishes all club members involved with the four teams the best of luck and to any club members travelling, a safe journey.
Michael Davitts NW100 charity cycle which is taking place on Sunday 2nd August  is starting to build momentum with over 40 people turning up to training nights at the hall on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7pm and again on Sunday mornings at 9am, there is still time for anyone wanting to train and take part in the 25 or 65 mile cycle with everyone welcome.  We have produced a one-off  unique cycle jersey for this event which can be purchased at the end of July with anyone wanting to order a jersey please contact 07714980122.

The Reserve footballers were narrowly defeated by Eoghan Rua, Cuil Raithin last Friday evening at home on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-15 in a very competitive game.
The U-16 Hurlers are scheduled to play Carrickmopre  at home this Sunday morning  (28th June) at 11am,please check official fixtures for confirmation.
The Senior Hurlers had another good win against Banagher away last Wednesday night to continue their unbeaten run in the Senior League.
The Senior Footballers had no game last weekend and are now scheduled to play Eoghan Rua, Cuil Raithin this Sunday at home (28th  June) at 7.30pm, please check official fixtures for confirmation.
The U-14 football team were defeated by Lissan last Tuesday night at home in a high scoring game 3-13 to 4-14,they are scheduled to play Ballinderry  away tonight at 7.15pm,please check official fixtures for confirmation.
The minor footballers were defeated by Bellaghy by one point last Monday night at home. In a very competitive game they were a number of very good performances.

The U-16 football team are scheduled to play Bellaghy at home this Thursday night (25th June) at 7.15pm,please check official fixtures for confirmation.
The minor  Hurlers are scheduled to play Dungannon at home this Wednesday night  (24th June ) at 7.15pm, please check official fixtures for confirmation.
The Eugene McGovern Desertmartin  Over 35s memorial tournament commences tonight in Desertmartin  with the team scheduled to play Ballinascreen at 7.15pm and Lavey at 8.10pm.
