Camogie: The senior Camogs hosted Magherafelt in the league on Thursday. Due to exams a few girls were unavailable for selection but this gave other a chance to stake their claim to a place on the team. Magherafelt got off the mark first hitting 2 unanswered points from play, Eimear McNicholl replied with a pointed free but Magherafelt cancelled this out with a similar score. Leanne McCrystal added 2 points, one from play and one from a free to draw level, Ciarrai Convery then replaced Roisin McCabe. Magherafelt took the lead again pointing from play yet but Glen managed to take the lead with 2 points before half time, one from Leanne and a long range score by Clare McGroggan leaving the half time score Glen 0-5 Magherafelt 0-4. Glens lead should have been more but too many scoring chances were not taken. Glen were the stronger team in the second half but Magherafelt hit first with a point from play, Glen increased their lead by 2 points, Eimear McNicholl getting her second and Caoimhe Glass getting on the score sheet. Magherafelt replied yet again with a point from play. Glen then put the game beyond Magherafelt with 2 points from Leanne McCrystal and Clare McGroggan before Leanne got Glen's only goal of the game. Magherafelt pointed a free. Glen's defence had held firm until just on the final whistle when Magherafelt managed to scramble a goal to leave the final score Glen 1-9 Magherafelt 1-7. Ladies Football: All County Ladies Senior Football League Rd 6. Glen Ladies welcomed Steelstown on Monday night in a top of the table clash with both teams entering the game with a 100% record. Captain Sarah Kerr won the toss and Glen played against a strong breeze in the first half. The game had to be played 14 a side as Steelstown only had 14 players available. Glen were in complete control for the first 10 minutes but failed to turn possession into scores. In this period Glen hit a number of bad wides as they struggled to break down a very defensive Steelstown side.  It was in fact Steelstown who then gained control in the middle of the half as they hit three unanswered points.  This could have been a lot more if it was not for some excellent defending from Maria McGrath and Caoimhe Mulholland in the full back line. Glen finally managed to get on the score board through wing half forward Ciara Mullholland who hit a point and corner forward Clare McGroggan who hit another point before the half time whistle. Half time: Glen 0-02 Steelstown 0-03. Glen started poorly in the second half as Steelstown gained control around the middle. They scored the opening point of the half and also hit a number of wide's to let Glen of the hook.  Glen wrestled control back around the middle through Kivlehan and substitute McKenna and hit three points of their own through full forward Breena O'Loughlin to leave Glen one up.  At this stage Glen were well in control but were not making their dominance count on the score board.  They hit a number of bad wides and a couple of goal chances were also missed.  Corner forward Claire McGroggan finally broke down the Steelstown defence with a well taken goal.  Steelstown responded with a point in the final attack of the game. Full time: Glen 1-05 Steelstown 0-05. Team: B Cassidy, Caoimhe Mullholland, M McGrath, S Kerr, F McCrory, D McMaster, A Convery, C Moran, B Heavron, O Higgins, D Kivlehan, Ciara Mullholland (0-01),  C McGroggan (1-01),  B O'Loughlin(0-03) Subs: C McKenna for Ciara Mullholland, M Cassidy for O Higgins.
