O'Kane impressed

April 22, 2015

Claudy manager Michael O'Kane couldn't be anything other than impressed as his side crushed Slaughtmanus at the weekend.

A 6-14 to 0-04 win in this Division Two clash was much to the delight of the 32-year-old as they followed their opening day win with this performance.

"I'm more than happy," he told the County Derry Post. "In my wildest dreams I wouldn't have expected the result against Slaughtmanus. It was just one of those days when everything went right and nothing went right for them.

"I think that in the Ulster League it took our boys a couple of games to find their feet. They've got a grounding there and the foundation is built, but it's not easy."
