Glenullin are sweating over the availability of the talented Gerard O'Kane for the entire 2015 campaign.

O'Kane appealed a one-match ban handed to him for an incident during their county SFC quarterfinal defeat to Dungiven earlier this year.

The Derry Hearings Committee felt that a one game ban was insufficient and have imposed a three-match suspension on the Derry footballer.

This would mean that should Glenullin go through the front door in next year's championship, O'Kane would not be available until the semi-final, should they reach that far.

What is worse for the player is that should Glenullin make an early exit from the championship, O'Kane would be ineligible for the opening game of the 2016 campaign.
