Slaughtneil assistant manager John Joe Kearney feels there won't be much between them and Clontibret in Sunday's Ulster club SFC semi-final.

The Derry champions defeated Cavan Gaels in the quarterfinal last weekend and they have just a week to prepare for their clash against the Monaghan side who have Kilcoo and St Gall's so far in the campaign.

Kearney admitted to the County Derry Post that he doesn't know much about their opponents, but added that he was surprised to see them beat the Down champions.

"I don't know a lot about them, other than that they've beaten two of the top teams. When this Ulster championship was starting, I would have thought Kilcoo would be the team to be reckoned with. They're gone," stressed Kearney.

"They're not winning matches by the bagful, but they're winning them. We don't, I suppose, win by bagfuls either. It'll be a tough game. We don't know much about them at this minute in time other than names."
