Slaughtneil may have to plan without county star Patsy Bradley for their championship opener against Ballinascreen.

Bradley has suffered a recurrence of the shoulder injury that ruled him out of Derry's All-Ireland SFC qualifier defeat to Longford last month.

The Derry midfielder lasted only ten minutes of Slaughtneil's defeat to Kilrea last weekend and with just over a week to go to the championship clash, Bradley is in a race against time.

The loss of Bradley would be huge to Slaughtneil as they look to get their campaign off to a winning start. Tweet
