U16s training on Fridays at 6.30pm in Ballinagore.

Over the past week, our U 14s have been very busy.  On Sunday 9th April we travelled to Caulry to take part in the Feile group stages.
After  two tough games against Caulry and Ballycomyle, we emerged victorious in both.   Those wins put us through to the quarter final of the Feile.

Lilliput Gaels 6 - 09 Maryland/Tang 4 - 08
On Thursday evening last we travelled to Tang to play Maryland Tang in Division 2 of the league.   We came away with a good win.
Lilliput Gaels 2 - 03 Shandonagh 0-11

On Saturday morning last we travelled to Shandonagh for the Feile quarter final.   In a very entertaining game by both sides in which we were leading at half time, however the home side finished stronger in the second half and came out winners in the end.

Our team should be very proud of their performances despite this defeat and look forward to the rest of the year.

Easter in Raheenmore
It is the oldest church in the diocese but Raheenmore may also have the youngest and definitely the most talented bunch of musicians in the diocese and this talent was most evident on Easter Sunday morning when the church was brimming with harps, violins, whistles, flutes, guitars and beautiful singing. Great credit to the pupils of Ballinagore NS and their enthusiastic music teacher, Aoife Maxwell. All their hard work is really paying off!
