Donegal and Westmeath will battle it out for promotion from Division 2 of the Lidl Ladies National Football League in a fortnight.
Relegated from the top flight two years ago, before losing the 2015 Division 2 final against Ulster rivals Armagh, Donegal can return to the elite if they see off Westmeath in the second tier showpiece.
Michael Naughton's charges saw off Cavan by 0-13 to 0-6 in Beragh, Tyrone, in today's semi-final with ace forward Geraldine McLaughlin on song once again.
There was an early let off for Donegal as Cavan missed a penalty but Yvonne McMonagle also had a goal disallowed for the winners.
Donegal maintained their unbeaten record in 2016 and will now hope to clinch promotion against Westmeath.
In Banagher, a first half goal blitz paved the way for Westmeath's 4-12 to 1-11 victory over Clare.
Early points from Laura Walsh and Karen Hegarty got the ball rolling for the Lake County before Ruth O'Connor's goal opened up a 1-4 to 0-0 lead in Banagher.
Johanna Maher looped a shot into the Clare net for Westmeath's second goal and when Leona Archibald scored their third, the Lake County were 3-4 to 0-2 clear, with five of their six forwards on the scoresheet.
O'Connor netted her second to help establish a big interval lead, as Westmeath headed to the dressing rooms 4-6 to 0-3 clear.
Westmeath weathered a second half Clare storm to emerge victorious, as Gráinne Nolan scored the Banner County goal with 14 minutes left.
