It's been a week to forget for Cratloe.

Seven days after they were dethroned as Clare senior hurling champions by Sixmilebridge, the Blues also relinquished their grip on the Jack Daly Cup when succumbing to Clondegad in this afternoon's quarter-final.

The sides were level on 0-7 apiece at half-time, but Podge McMahon's second half goal secured a 1-12 to 0-11 victory for Clondegad, who will now face Cooraclare in the semi-final.

In today's other SFC quarter-final, goals in either half from Conor Cormican and Alan Sweeney gave St. Brekan's a 2-9 to 1-7 win over Kilrush and a place in the last four against Miltown Malbay.
