Newcastle West will face Killeedy in an eagerly anticipated replay of the 2014 Minor Camogie Final on Sunday in Tournafulla.
Newcastle West went into the first game as slight favourites as they had beaten Killeedy in the group stages of the competition. But Killeedy led for much of a very entertaining game with Newcastle West drawing level in the final moments to send the match to extra time. Added time could not separate the sides setting up Sunday's replay. Given the quality of the Camogie played by both sides this promises to be an excellent match and a fitting opener to the 2015 season.
