Con O'Callaghan scored 1-2 as Cuala took another step towards a four-in-a-row of Dublin SHC titles by cruising to a 2-26 to 2-13 quarter-final victory over Lucan Sarsfields at Parnell Park this afternoon.

The back-to-back All-Ireland club champions will face Kilmacud Crokes in the last four after they defeated St Jude's in the curtain-raiser by 0-19 to 0-14, despite having Jamie Clinton red-carded at the end of the first half. Oisin O'Rorke top-scored for Anthony Daly's charges with a six-point haul.

With Nicky Kenny, Jake Malone, David Treacy and Sean Moran all in fine scoring form, Cuala took a 0-16 to 0-4 lead into the break in their clash with Lucan Sarsfields. O'Callaghan netted midway through the second half before CJ Smith and Chris Crummey scored late goals for Lucan. However, a late Moran penalty ensured the Dalkey outfit had the final say.

Ballyboden St. Enda's and St. Vincent's will contest the other semi-final following their victories over Ballinteer St John's and Na Fianna respectively on Friday evening.
