Former Kerry All-Ireland winner Declan O'Keeffe has been appointed as Roscommon's new goalkeeping coach.

The two-time All-Ireland medallist and ex-Ireland International Rules netminder joins Kevin McStay's senior set-up for the 2017 season and will have an input into the entire team preparation.

At a local media event today, McStay also confirmed the appointment of David Joyce as performance coach.

A former professional soccer player with Birmingham City, Joyce is a regular with Castlebar Mitchels' senior side and came on as a substitute in last month's Connacht final defeat to Corofin after extra-time.

The Rossies have already brought on board Ger Dowd as a selector while Liam McHale is retained as coach.
