Armagh hurlers celebrate at Croke Park

Sylvester McConnell has been appointed Armagh's new senior hurling manager.

McConnell, who takes over from John Lennon, has been working with the team for the past couple of months, but his appointment was only ratified this week. He will be assisted by Padraig O'Connor with the pair having already guided the Orchard County to the final of the Conor McGurk tournament.

The minor hurling management team of Paddy McArdle, Ciaran Breen, Mickey McCreesh and Jason Cahill was also ratified at Monday night's county board meeting.
