Antrim hurler McNaughton passes away

The late James McNaughton
Aged 51, he was right half back on the Antrim team which lost the 1989 All-Ireland final to a Nicky English-inspired Tipperary. His inter-county career spanned from 1982 and '93, during which time Antrim were a match for most of the top hurling counties. He was the holder of two Ulster SHC medals.
At club level, James won seven Antrim and seven Ulster championships with Ruairi Og, Cushendall. Poignantly, he was recently appointed joint-manager of Cushendall along with another Antrim great, Terence 'Sambo' McNaughton, who is no relation.
