Blarney's Joe Jordan
Blarney's Joe Jordan will make his NHL debut for Cork against Kilkenny on Sunday in what is Denis Walsh's first game in charge of the Rebels. Jordan has been rewarded for his impressive displays for Blarney during their run to the All-Ireland intermediate club title by being included at right half back at John Gardiner's expense. The team shows three other changes from that which edged out Limerick last weekend. Castlelyons' Kieran McGann takes over from the injured Sean Og O hAilpin at left half back, Kevin Hartnett replaces Cathal Naughton at midfield, while Graham Callinan comes in at left half forward for his first league appearance of the year with Jerry O'Connor moving into the left corner in place of the injured Kieran Murphy (Sarsfields). Cork (SH v Kilkenny): D Óg Cusack; S O'Neill, E Cadogan, C O'Sullivan; J Jordan, R Curran, C McGann; K Hartnett, T Kenny; B O'Connor, K Murphy (Erins Own), G Callinan; P Horgan, N Ronan, J O'Connor.
