The Late Bridget Farrell Another death that occurred outside the county but has caused great sadness in Wicklow G.A.A., circles is that of Bridget Farrell, nee Furlong which occurred in England. Bee was the widow of formed National Hunt Jockey P.A.Farrell, a native of Grangecon. Her many nephews include Gerry Farrell (Wicklow) one of the county selectors. The Furlong brothers who are on the county panel, Seanie and Anthony, are grand-nephews while Mary Cullen, the well known secretary of the Baltinglass G.A.A. Club is a niece. She will be reposing at the home of her niece Bernadette Tutty in Grangecon on Sunday and her funeral will take place to Baltinglass cemetery on Monday.
