The Late Pat Hanlon
One of the last surviving members of the old brigade in Blessington, Pat Hanlon of the Rundel, passed away peacefully.
In his mid-90's, Pat played for the old 'Blues' - a much-respected team in the early '40's and into the '50's, and was a highly-regarded footballer.
His sons have been involved in all the local clubs - Blessington, Lacken and KIlbride - as well as with under-age teams at club and county level.
To his extended, and very involved, family we send our sympathy.
