Trials for the 2015 county minor football squad will take place over the four Sundays of September.

Manager John Murphy and his selectors Adam Jameson, Paul O'Riordan and Robert McHugh will oversee the trials and have already contacted players that they would like to run the rule over. However, they have also left the door open to any other player who deems himself good enough to make the grade to attend the trials.

The squad for the 2015 season will be selected after the final trial and the chosen players will then be subjected to a fitness test in early October to help put in place personal fitness programmes for the winter.

It is envisaged that the players will be asked to attend the gym on Wednesdays and Fridays, with training sessions to be held on the field on Sundays.

The county minors will have the facilities at the Centre of Excellence in Ballinkill at their disposal and this is expected to result in the best-prepared Garden County minor side ever!
