Well done to our Junior A team who beat Kiltegan in the Champ on Fri last 3-7 to 0-4, the weather was dreadful but the lads forgot about that and put in a great team performance to win. Junior C team are playing some challenges while waiting on the next Div 4 competition to satrt on 27th June. Hard luck to Wicklow Juniors beaten by Kildare in the Leinster Semi Final last week, we were represented by Paul Mc Loughlin & Kevin Hanlon who both had great games. Hard luck Wicklow beaten by Meath in Leinster quarter final, well done to our club man Anthony Mc Loughlin who put in a super performance on the day, also to Paul who was also on the panel. Hard luck to our adult Ladies beaten by Eadestown & Thomas Davis in recent challenges. Birthday wishes to Conor O Brien, Ciara Gilligan, Michael Sargent & Mick Mills. Pat Molloy has two training tops for sale €25 each sizes Large.Happy fathers day to all our GAA Daddy's. Well done to Aisling Hennessy and her friend Linda Mason who have just completed almost 1000 miles cycle from John o' Groats to Lands End in 11.5 days. A great achievement for the girls. They were doing it for Charity-- The Stroke Association. If anyone would like to contribute to their fund they can give it to Aisling's dad Arthur Hennessy and he will pass it on. Any donation will be acknowledged.
Juvenile
Our U14s were beaten by St Pat's on Friday night on a very bad night in Newcastle. They play Eire Og at home on Wed 19 June. This will be their final game before they head to Feile to represent Wicklow in Division 3. The host club is St Joseph's in Craigbane and they will play St Broughan's (Offaly), Banagher (Derry) and Craigbane (Derry). The first game against our hosts will take place on Fri 28 and the team will take part in the parade in Derry City that evening at 7pm. On Sat 29 Jun we play St Broughan's and Banagher in Banagher who were our host club in 2010. Should we progress the quarters and semis will take place in Craigbane on Sat afternoon. The finals will be held in Celtic Park on Sun 30 Jun. We wish the management and the team the very best of luck. With only 12 days to the Football Feile in Derry and the Feile Fundraising team are hard at work and there are a couple of fundraising activities happening over the next couple of weeks. A "Circle The Town in Blue" sponsored footpath walk around Blessington this coming Sunday 23 June starting from the pitch at 1pm. All participants are asked to wear blue and white club colours on the day. A cup of tea/coffee and refreshments will be available at the clubhouse following the walk. The fundraising team have also secured highly sought after Corporate pairs of tickets x 3 to the Leinster Senior Football (14 Jul) and 2 pairs of Leinster Senior Hurling Championship (7 Jul). Also up for grabs is a signed Wicklow jersey. The draw is limited to 200 tickets and cost €10 each. 130 are sold already so if you wish to buy a ticket please contact Noreen on

The U8/U10 Go Games will be held in Valleymount on Sat 22 Jun. Our U12s play away to An Tochar on Mon 17 Jun and play at home to Tinahely on Wed 26 Jun.
The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and Gaelic Players Association (GPA) recently launched the Elverys GAA/GPA Youth camps, offering the chance for juvenile boys aged between 13 to 15 years of age to learn the skills of Gaelic football and hurling from their GAA heroes, in high quality venues across the country over a two week period, from 24th June to 28th June and 1st July to 5th July. Blessington GAA has been chosen as the venue for Wicklow. IT Tallaght are granting bursaries to students who meet the educational requirements to gain entry into the college and who are also participating in GAA at an elite level or have a potential to reach an elite level.
