Damian Power is confident that Wicklow can get the better of Meath.

The Garden County full back missed out on last year's clash with the Royals at Dr Cullen Park but can't wait to rub shoulders with Mick O'Dowd's men at Aughrim on Saturday night:

"I'm looking forward to it big time," the Rathnew man says in The Wicklow People. "I can't wait now, especially after last year when I thought we were unlucky you know with Leighton [Glynn] getting injured like that.

"That was a huge mental blow for us, never mind a physical one, and it was a massive boost for them too.

"I'm not going to give you a prediction but I can guarantee you we are going to give it 120% and if everything goes right for us we could easily beat them."
