Another good win for our lads in the Senior league division 1 against Tinahely away in very tricky playing conditions and quite a few first teamers missing including our three first choice goalies, it didn't look too good. Shorty took the toss and decided to play with the strong wind blowing down the field from Knockananna. We were just a goal up at the break and with the breeze getting stronger it didn't look as if we would hold out against the wind and a steady bombardment from the locals.

Rory Toomey kept a clean sheet in the goals, our defence stood firm and our midfield took complete control. With seven players getting on the score sheet and goals from George Finlay and Alan Daly to add to Conor Healy's first half goal we went home happy with full points from the game. Tweet
