Cats clash to be a non-runner
February 02, 2012
Wicklow head to Kilkenny for the league opener on Sunday in the knowledge that barring a shock that would register 12.5 on the Richter scale, a win against the Cats is a formality.
Many might say that this is a no-win situation for the Garden County, but with scoring difference sure to make a difference at the end of the campaign, Harry Murphy will be urging his charges to pile on the scores.
The fact that this is the footballers only match this month will not aid their cause for later in the campaign and the management team are sure to have like a more competitive outing.
Kilkenny only appointed a management team last month and although Wicklow have a number of injury worries ahead of the match, they should win this one with ease.
