Congratulations to Nicky Keddy who has been appointed captain of the Wicklow County Camogie team for 2012. Nicky has a successful first outing on Sunday in Kilcoole as Wicklow were successful in their first challenge match of the season - great to see Nicky joined by our own Caressa O'Toole, Frances Kearns and Emily Jennings in the starting 15 - we wish the county squad all the best for 2012.
Excitement is building as our Table Quiz draws near - Thursday February 2nd in Byrne's Mill Room, Kilcoole, 8.30pm - Tickets for the associated Raffle went on pre sale this week-end and the response has been most encouraging! Thanks to everybody for the ongoing support. If you haven't got your team of 4 organised for Thursday - you still have 1 day to get moving! 20 Euro per team and a good night out in the bag!
Drop in to our Stand at the Community Exhibition in Shoreline, Greystones on Wednesday - organised by the Wicklow Volunteer Centre - you'll find us with the Hockey, Baseball and Tennis folk as well as the newly formed Rollerskate Gang and the Sea Scouts.
