Hurlers to make 2012 bow
January 26, 2012

Wicklow hurling manager Casey O"Brien
Wicklow's hurlers will play their first competitive match of the year on Sunday.
Casey O'Brien's charges are due to face St Patrick's, Drumcondra in the Kehoe Cup at Greystones and it promises to be a searching examination for the hosts as the students put Louth to the sword in their first-round match last weekend.
Wicklow will be looking for another good run in this competition, having progressed to the final last year, wherein they lost to Meath.
But they'll have to be wary of the Pat's, who are taking part in the Kehoe Cup for the first time. In particular, they'll need to keep an eye on Niall Arthur, who posted 1-7 against the Wee County.
