All-Ireland final beckons for Greystones
January 19, 2012
Eire Og Greystones are in All-Ireland intermediate club championship semi-final action on Sunday.
The Wicklow champions travel to Tullamore, where they will lock horns with Davitts of Mayo for a place in the All-Ireland decider.
Eire Og finally claimed the county IFC last year after years of knocking on the door and they then added the Leinster intermediate club football championship, beating the likes of St Bridget's from Offaly and Confey of Kildare along the way.
County players Darren Hayden and Stephen Kelly are sure to be to the fore as the Greystones men strive to put Garden County football on the national map.
