Club-House Old Connaught.
The management of the club would like to thank the volunteers that gave up their time over the holiday period to assist with the clear-out of the club-house. Although a large number of our usual volunteers were unavailable, a small group did Trojan work in preparing the club house for the upgrade which commenced on 2nd January. During the upgrade, there will be access to the dressing rooms. There will not be access to the hurling wall area or to the main building. All mentors are requested to ensure that there is adequate supervision of their players during the development works.
Juvenile Matches
On Saturday afternoon Bray Emmets were host to a number of teams in the third instalment of a series of camogie blitzes to be held once a month up to and including March to be played at Old Conna. Bray fielded two teams in the U12 competition and the attendees included Cuala, Kilmacud Crokes, Naas, Naomh Olafs and Ballinteer St John's.
A selection of U11 and U12 boys combined to play a hurling challenge against the mighty Ballyboden Saturday last. Bray Emmets broke into 3 evenly weighted teams. Many of our players hurled their way very convincingly into the New Year! On one team, Macdara Ó Midheach, Gavin Henderson and David Maloney played powerfully. On another team, James Anders, Donnchadh Griffin-Carroll, Sid Hunt and Seán McDonagh gave 100%. Finally on team three, Ciarán McKay, Jacob Stanley and Rory Lambe wowed the appreciative on-lookers.
