The top eight senior football teams in Wicklow on paper are living up to their reputations as all will contest this year's senior championship quarterfinals.

Over the course of the next few days, four matches will determine who goes through to the semi finals and they are all intriguing games to say the least.

One of the favourites for the title, St Patricks are in action on Saturday evening when they take on Kiltegan at Aughrim; the venue for the quarterfinals.

Donard-Glen show great battling qualities to come out of the group and they will need to reproduce that form against Rathnew in the second of Saturday's matches.

On Sunday, the meeting of Baltinglass and Bray Emmets at 12pm will be followed by the clash between Blessington and Stratford-Grangecon. Tweet
