Tight call for senior crown
October 03, 2008
This year's senior football final sees St Patricks take on Kiltegan at Aughrim on Sunday in what should be a close encounter between these two rivals.
The sides met in the final two years ago when St Patricks came out on top and they will be slight favourites for Sunday's match that should attract a full house.
In 2006, St Patricks came out on top by just a narrow margin and there will not be much between the sides this weekend either as both have looked in good form throughout the campaign.
Meanwhile, the match will be preceded by the county minor final as Blessington take on Bray Emmets with this match having a 1.30pm throw in.
