Jameson hoping for better luck
October 03, 2008
St Patrick's captain Gary Jameson will lead out the side against Kiltegan on Sunday afternoon and he is confident that they can lift the title once again.
Jameson was captain of the side that lost the intermediate final at the start of the decade and on Sunday and he will lead the side out against Kiltegan.
"There is a great reaction from the lads since the start of the year. We have worked hard to get back into a county final. At last count I think we have had 98 matches and training sessions together," said Jameson.
"The response of the players has been absolutely brilliant, they cannot do enough. They have done everything we asked. We have pulled together and I think it is the strongest squad we have ever had, stronger even than the panel that won two championships."
