A quiet week on the playing fields this week. Newtowns senior league match against Tinahely was postponed last Sunday morning. However Newtown travel to Shillelagh this Saturday for a senior league match. Check fixtures column for throw-in time. The next big event is the Golf Classic which will take place on Sunday 19th of October. The venue is the world renowned Druids Glen Golf Club. Entry is Ä500 per team of 4.
