Hard luck to our local ladies team who reached the senior county championship final last Sunday and went down to a strong Arklow GB team.  The score at the end was 1-15 to 2-6 and our ladies will regret not converting frees early on in this performance.  Monica Lynch battled hard throughout this game with Sarah Miley, Fiona White and Jennifer O Gorman giving it their best right to the end.  Scorers on the day were; Monica Lynch 0-1, Yvonne Sutton 0-1, Marcella Price 1-0, Nikki Dunne 0-3, Chrissie Shortt 0-1 and Johanne Carstairs 1-0.  A Foundation Level Coaching Course and Level 1 Coaching Course will take place in the near future.  Any parents, players and coaches interested and over the age of 16 years please contact Eileen Molloy (086 179 6950) as soon as possible. Our sincere sympathy to all the Power Family and Cullen Family on the sad passing of Mary Power.  May she rest in peace.  The under 16 match is postponed as a mark of respect and will now be played on Tuesday evening this week instead of Monday.  Our club lotto is presently worth .11,000 for this week and your support will be much appreciated.
