Congratulations to our Intermediate Ladies on their 1-06 to 1-03 victory over a gallant Valleymount team in the Intermediate Championship final on Saturday in Aughrim. Both teams were level at halftime with three points apiece. The girls worked extremely hard in the second and fully deserved their 3 point victory.

It was not be for our Senior in a heart breaking final result of 2-9 to 1-15 against the reigning champions Tinahely who have completed four in a row. In a poor first half where the girls never got going and only trailed by five after an opportunist goal for Tinahely with the half-time score of St Pats 0-03 Tinahely 1-05. The management made changes at half time and the ladies battled hard and played good football to turn the scoreboard coming up to injury time leading by 4. Hard luck to all involved on a superb final in Aughrim. The whole squad have done themselves proud and pushed the champions all the way. We will regroup and be back stronger than ever next year

Hard luck to U17 footballers who were on the wrong side of an impressive Blessington second half performance in the Division 2 League Final. In the first half the lads battled hard and were level until a mix-up on the line gave Blessington a goal on the stroke of halftime with the scoreline: St. Pats 1-03 Blessington 1-06. In the second half, the lads never gave up and kept going until the end. At full time Blessington were deserving winners with the score: St. Patricks 2-05 Blessington 3-16.
