Valleymount club notes

September 24, 2018

Hard luck to the Ladies Intermediate team who went down fighting to St Pats in the Intermediate County Championship Final at the weekend, losing by 3pts. It has been a great year for the ladies who are building for the future with this young panel. Thanks to Pat and Darragh for their efforts in managing the ladies. Well done to St Pats.

A big thank you to Lynhams, Laragh who made our Ladies team very welcome on the way back from Aughrim. A big thank you to Liz Cullen who fed the girls on their arrival back to Cullen's and put on music on the night. A great night was had by all.

The clubs first €100 fundraiser draw was held in Cullen's also which was a great success.

The winners of the €100 fundraiser draw were €500 - Trish Reid, €500 - Shane Hughes, €100 - Shane Flynn, €100 - Frances Murphy, SuperValu Xmas Turkey Voucher - Bridget Cahill,  Crimmins Voucher - Andy Farrington, Moody Rooster Voucher - Jeanette Neary.

Thanks to everyone who bought lines and to the sponsors of the spot prizes. The next €100 fundraiser draw is at the end of October. Our Lotto draw was held at the weekend and there was no winner of the jackpot. The numbers were 1-5-14-15. The three €25 winners were Stephen Masterson, Ann Farrington and Tadgh Miley. Our next lotto draw will be on Saturday 6th October with a jackpot of €6100. Congrats and thanks for the support.

The lads Jun A Semi-Final against An Tochar will be held next weekend, Sunday 30th Sept in Blessington at 11.30am, please check fixtures for updates.
