Wicklow Minors - The Wicklow lads Dublin on Wed 27 June in Parnell Park with goals from Kevin Quinn and Eoin Darcy which helped Wicklow to a four-point win, 2-6 to 0-8. Those two first-half goals had Wicklow six points to the good at the break, 2-4 to 0-4, and although they only managed two more points in a low-scoring second half, it was enough to see them home. Wicklow's win sees them leapfrog the Dubs into second place in Group 1, and victory in their final round robin match when they play already-qualified Meath on 3 July in Aughrim at 7.30pm will see them into the semis at Dublin's expense. Please support.

Wicklow Ladies - Hard luck to the ladies and management who lost to Laois on Sun 1 Jul in the Leinster Intermediate Championship Final in Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow. Final score 2-13 to 0-13. Well done to our super club ladies Kim Connors and Shona O'Connor. Well done also to our young U12 players Robyn Brennan and Leila Shannon who took part in an exhibition at the interval.

They played some great football, Meabh Doyle our super defender for the future, how she caught some of them balls I do not know. Well done. A win against a strong Kildare team, Milltown. There's no stopping these girls now, stars of the future. Michelle Trevor and Shauna. Thanks for the fab new gear which was kindly sponsored by Brian Carroll. All the girls really look the part now. Thanks a million Brian, I think the girls done the jersey proud.

U11's - U11 Wicklow boys Wed 27 Jun. Blue squad. The lads were at home to St Pats and played some nice football to produce great scores and won well. Few things to work on in training but well done to the lads.

White squad were away to St Pats. Tackling were excellent and they came away with a great win. Well done to coaches and parents for travelling on very warm night. Red squad were at home to Stratford/Grangecon and started like rockets and finished the same. Excellent scoring and team play and came away winning in the end.

U11 boys rescheduled games tonight Fri 29 Jun. Blue squad fielded 9 players against Dunlavin and again played some very nice moving football and won out in the end. White squad were away to Kilmac and despite battling right to the end lost by two scores. Special mention to Orlagh Murphy for playing this game with us tonight at very short notice. Red squad - what can i say! it's great to see younger players step up when asked to fulfill fixtures and that they did and played fantastic football with our 4 from regular u11 squad to come away with great win. Thanks to the following u9 player's- Ryan Sergeant, Oisin Kelly, Dylan Callaghan, James McCarney, Luke Denieffe. Finally, thanks to all parents who took late calls to move squads when asked. So yet again 3 u11 teams played on Fri evening with 15 of U11 group of players not available to play for various reasons. U11's white away v Newtown on Fri 6 Jul.  Also on Fri 6 Jul U11's Red squad away v St Kevins.
