Minors - Well done to our Minors who had their first game finally in the league v Michael Dwyer on Wed 28 Mar in Strafford. Thanks to some of the U15's who played on the night. The lads had a great start to their league and next up is Derry Gaels on Mon 2 Apr at home 6.30pm and on Mon Apr 9 at home v Bray at 7.15pm.
U13 & U14 - U13's and U14's Feile team played V St Nicks and St. Kevin's on Fri 30 Mar in Hollywood. It was a very close game with St Nicks winning it in the last 5 mins. A good performance by all. Blesso played St Kevin's in the 2nd game and came away with a 2-point win in a competitive game. Thurs 5 Mar: U13's & U14's final preparation training for Feile 7pm to 8:15. Sat 7 & Sun 8 Apr Feile Competition in Ballinakill at 12pm.
U14 & U15 - Wed 4 Apr at 8pm U15's first round of the league away V St Nicks in Donard.
U12's/U13's - Well done to the U12's and U13's on Thur 29 Mar in their match in the cross county league semi-final v St Fechins (Louth). Level at half time. Level at full time. Level at half time of extra time and in practical darkness St Fechins got the winning score. Despite peppering their goal for the last few mins we couldn't break through. Couldn't pick a man of the match. They were all great in really tough conditions. A really exciting night of quality football and a big thank you to the ladies in the clubhouse. The tea was just the ticket!

Senior Ladies - Great start for our Ladies in Dublin League on 28 Mar with a win against Foxrock/Cabinteely B. Score 4-15 to 3-06. Big well done to Niamh Cullen and Anna Vas with excellent performances on their senior debut. Second league game next Wed 4 Apr away to Kilmacud Crokes at 6.30pm. Wicklow league against ABG at home on Sun 7 Apr. time TBC.
U14 girls County - Wicklow U14 Ladies Challenge Match on Sat 24 March. Blessington GAA Captain Sarah Murphy led her team to a win over Carlow. Wicklow 5-09 Carlow 4-07.

Easter Camp 18 - What a fantastic two days. Another massive success - our biggest attendance to date (54 more kids than last year!). 258 girls and boys enjoyed every minute of the action packed couple of days. From academy age right up to 6th Class there was endless GAA fun & skills. The weather on Day 1 faired out better than Day 2 but that didn't stop any of the young footballers and their buddies! Every child received a lovely pair of crested gloves. We had our Presentations & big group photo taken at the end of the Camp.
We say a huge thank you to all 30 coaches for giving up some of their midterm break and they all did a wonderful job. They are a credit to our Club and it's brilliant to see the kids looking up to them and taking their guidance on board. Academy Girl of the camp was Emma Vickers. Academy Boy of the camp was Brogin O'Driscoll. Young Girl of the camp was Leah Richardson. Young Boy of the camp was Liam Richardson. Senior Girl of the camp was Sadhbh Fisher. Senior Boy of the camp was Dylan Keogh.

I have had the best (but busy) time organising this event for the last 4 years but it's time for a break so I happily bow out after seeing all those smiling enthusiastic faces leave the pitch today!
