Yesterday's Opel GAA/GPA football All Stars exhibition match in Abu Dhabi was a typically high-scoring affair which saw the current All Stars defeat their 2015 counterparts on a 14-11 to 10-11 scoreline.
The 2016 team, managed by Liam Kearns, was never headed after Tipperary's Conor Sweeney and captain Dean Rock gave them an early lead. They went on to lead their Mickey Harte-managed opponents by 9-6 to 5-6 at half-time.
Dublin's Ciaran Kilkenny and Donegal captain Michael Murphy each posted 3-2 for the 2016 and 2015 teams respectively.
