Saints bid to keep double dream alive

September 30, 2015

St Martin's have already booked their place in one senior county semi-final and they will be looking to go one step further in another championship this weekend.

A place in the senior hurling semi-finals was secured last weekend and this Sunday they will bid to pass that in the football championship when they take on Castletown in the SFC semi-final at Innovate Wexford Park.

This will be a tight match as both sides will be keen to push on for the title and it is a real battle of youth v. experience.

In the second semi-final, Shelmaliers and St James meet for the first time in the SFC. The former will be looking to put their defeat in the hurling behind them and bounce back in the big ball code.

St James have grown in confidence as the campaign continues and they are seeking a double of their own as their hurlers are still in the intermediate A hurling championship.
