The Wexford under-21 hurling championship will not go ahead on the date pencilled in as planned.
The start date for the championship was this coming weekend with a full round of fixtures on Good Friday.
The reasons for the postponement are that a number of under-21 players are involved with the Good Counsel College team, while the Wexford minors have reached the Leinster league final against Offaly and this will be played on Saturday.
A new date has not been announced for the start of the under-21 championship, but it could be a few weeks yet.
