Coleman set for second term

October 22, 2014

The Wexford hurling committee have proposed that current minor hurling manager Larry Coleman to stay on for another year.

Coleman took on the role earlier this year after some controversy occurred over an initial appointment. The St Martin's clubman then guided the county's minor hurlers to the Leinster semi-final where they were defeated by Dublin.

A number of candidates were interviewed for the position, but the sub-committee appointed to put forward a candidate have opted for Coleman.

As of yet, he has to appoint his backroom team, but Coleman is set to have that done before the next county board meeting, when he will be ratified into the position.
