Two thousand and eighteen is turning into an injury nightmare for Wexford's Rory O'Connor.

The St Martin's clubman has spent his fair share of time on the sidelines this year through injury and yet again he is on the treatment table.

O'Connor missed out on his club's SHC clash with Shelmaliers last weekend with a knee injury that has caused him a lot of concern this year.

The talented hurler is an integral part of the Wexford senior and under-21 sides, with him being rated doubtful for the All-Ireland U21 semi-final against Cork on Saturday week.

The loss of O'Connor would be massive for the Model County, particularly against a Cork side that looked so impressive when winning the Munster title earlier this month.
