Referee in the first game was scandalous. That was his second game to referee in 2 hours!"
I agree pure disgrace the price into games €15 I only paid 10 told them not paying any more pure robbery. How u meant to promote hurling. Something has to b done.

You need money to promote hurling 15 for 2 games good value
Wonder what you and Valley would do if Westmeath got to a all ireland final and had to pay 80

Waste of time Rahkill resplying to those lads who consistently post negative posts on this forum, you know the type yourself, spend their time whinging about everything but unwilling to do anything remotely positive, 15 euro was great value for both games, two lively encounters, not sure about injury time being questionable in second game, there were at least 7 subs which means 2 mins 20 seconds minimum, there was one lengthy injury stoppage, replay should be decent match, Cullion are younger and seemed fitter so that might be a factor.

Not a cent will go to hurling development in the county
When did charging for 5 year olds start in Westmeath?

If ye think charging €15 for two intermediate game is good value you are a clown charging kids to promote hurling stop taking s**t .u go to Dublin all championship games €5 same as cork clare Kerry kids free that's value and dats promoting hurling CB is a disgrace so if the likes of yes lads paying and saying noting is why its €15 .won't pay it next time either .

€15 will be the admission price for Saturday - but if you are a parent and family just going in for the one game to support teams in U16 final its a bit saucy. I know people will say that there is an Intermediate final after it and you can stay and watch that but the truth is there will be a good number going in just for that one game.

That's the genius of it.
Hit as many people as possible.

Attendances at games have gone way back. People begrudge giving any money towards a new stand

Any predictions for the final. I can't see anything past a Plunketts win,The Wood are poor enough, unbeaten but all they really beat was a bad Plunketts team. The Wood team is generally unfit. Plunketts by 6 pts with Curley and Craig to lead them on.

The Wood by five.

Draw game in the park, 2-13 apiece, probably a fair result, the Wood probably had slightly the better of the exchanges but Plunketts trailed by 4 twice and showed good spirit to come back, decent game but both sides will feel that they can play better, Plunketts missed a few long range frees while Shane Mc Govern's point near the end deserved to win any final, very clean, sporting game, Barry O' Mara was a threat to the Plunketts defence while Ciaran Curley had a fine first half. Replay next Sat was the unconfirmed date afterwards but not definite.

very poor atmosphere at the game with small support for both teams. there were more people in for the U16 game beforehand.
amazing they drafted in a referee off the senior panel for this game and not a referee off the intermediate panel.
