Notes as of 26th of February                       

Underage 
Our second match is against Maynooth on Sat 4th March @ 2:30pm in Maynooth.  Travel arrangements will be sent out by text .
Our 3rd game is against Clonaslee St Manmans on Sat 18th March @2:30pm in Castlepollard.                                         

Our match verses St Judes(Dub) fixed for last Sun 19th Feb was called off due to the weather and will be rescheduled at later date.

Registration 
Registration night takes place on Tues 28th from 6-8pm in the Complex. We would really appreciate it if all registrations can be completed on the night. 

Senior Team
Our Seniors had their first match in the Leinster League away to Kilcormac Killoughey (OY) on Sat 25th Feb.  They were comprehensively beaten by a much stronger and more direct side. Team : C.McCormack, P.Murphy, P.Dermody, J.Ward, D.O'Reilly, D.Higgins, C.Dermody, W.Casserly, J.Rabbitte, P.Fagan, JP. Murray, A.Devine, J.Devine, D.McCormack, J.McCarthy.  Subs used: M.Murray, S.Gilchrist, S.Collins, G.Flynn, D.Moore.
A minutes silence was observed prior to the start of the match in remembrance of the late Donal Devine .
Our second match is at home to Rathnure (WX) on Sat 4th March. Our 3rd game is away to Castletown (LS) on Sat 18th March.  

Membership
Membership for 2017 is now due : €30 for adults, €50 family, €20 for OAPs, and €10 for minors and younger. Players whose membership is not up to date are not insured to train or play with the club. Payments can be made to any of the club officers.

Condolences
Condolences to the Smyth family Pakenhamhall Rd. Castlepollard on the death of Ellen(Elsie) Smyth . To her husband Tom, son Anthony, daughters  Marie, Theresa and Margaret, sister Margaret  relatives, neighbours and friends we offer our deepest sympathies. May she rest in peace.
Condolences also to the Robinson family Castlepollard on the death of Johnny in England. May he rest in peace.

Bingo 
Our weekly Bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the Hurling Complex.  There was no winner of the Main Jackpot of  €15,000 last Sunday night.  Our 2nd Jackpot of €12,100 was not won and now stands at €12,200. 
              Bonus Ball Game #1 :- lucky winner of  €100 prize was Patricia Byrne.
              Bonus Ball Game #2 :- lucky winner of  €100 prize was Kevin Byrne. 

Lotto Draw
Lotto Draw took place during Bingo on Sunday night last .  The numbers drawn were :-  2,10,12,28.  
There was no jackpot winner. The 6 x €25 winners were:
