Castledaly v Ballynacargy Tues May 24th 7:30 - to be rearranged
Thu May 26th 7:30 Div 4
Caulry 1-17 Castledaly 2-08
Goals from David Stone and Alan Doyle in either half gave Castledaly GAA the lead on each occasion, but the home team Caulry finished both moieties in strong scoring form, and won the day.
Team Patrick Costello, Shane Dolan, Ken Larkin, Adrian Kelly, Mark Kearney, Russell Casey, Chris Claffey, Shane Fitzpatrick, Eamon Fleming, Justin Coughlan, MJ McLoughlin, Jack Kearney, Eanna Gavin, Alan Dab Doyle, David Stone. Sub Conor Foley for Gavin (HT)
Caulry opened scoring with 3 swift scores before Castledaly McLoughlin converted a free kick for foul on David Stone. Adrian Kelly and Pat Costello blocked and cleared through Ken Larkin with Eamon Fleming adding a second point from a Justin Coughlan pass. Russell Casey was fielding well in mid park and his accurate passing allowed David Stone to score a fine point under pressure, but the referee called back play for the free kick and MJ McLoughlin added the score again. Russell
Casey fielded and found Jack Kearney in space where the Senior debutante linked to Shane Fitzpatrick to see David Stone blast the back of the net. Cousins Eamon Fleming and David Stone combined to add a point for David. As Caulry converted a 45 metre free at the opposite end, Shane Dolan fed Shane Fitzpatrick  whose solo through Caulry defence set David Stone to secure another free kick, this time the accuracy was missing for McLoughlin. Castledaly forward line exchanged passes in front of a tight Caulry defence before Mark Kearney found space to shoot, but narrowly missed past upright. Castledaly missed scoring chances before half time, while Caulry tagged on four points from play and frees to take the lead as the whistle sounded the break.
09 to 1-04 Second half saw Conor Foley sub in for injured Gavin, and Castledaly Justin Coughlan went wide before a high ball from M.J. McLoughlin saw Alan Doyle storm the square and his goal gave Castledaly the lead again. The visitors added another David Stone point from play with Russell Casey again retrieving possession. The Kearney brothers combined to give Coughlan another score chance but the target evaded the usually reliable marksman. Caulry added another point and a converted free kick. In Castledaly defence Adrian Kelly and Ken Larkin had busy afternoon clearing their defensive lines but Caulry took the lead from play moments later. Coughlan's efforts were rewarded with the equalising point from play from a McLoughlin long ball pass and David Stone exchange, but Caulry replied with two points to retain the lead again. Castledaly enjoyed some good play and attack with Mark Kearney, Justin Coughlan, Alan Doyle unlucky not to increase scores. Ken Larkin worked the ball with Alan Doyle and MJ McLoughlin's free kick converted. Goalkeeper Patrick Costello saved at close range from the young Caulry forward line before ensuring the follow up was forced wide. David Stone and MJ McLoughlin added another combined effort for Stone to score, but Caulry added a goal and three points in quick success to see out the game for home win. Castledaly had 3 more scoring chances but the accuracy was missing to take advantage back
