Intermediate Championship Semi-Final

Crookedwood 0-15 1-5 Raharney

On Saturday afternoon we booked our place in the intermediate championship final for 2015. After a tough challenge against Raharney we came out as deserving winners.

In the first half we had the best of the proceedings, restricting our challengers to just 3 points in the opening 30 minutes while registering 8 points ourselves. Barry O'Mara registered 4 of these points while Brian McLoughlin and the Yourell brothers contributed the rest, after some great teamwork and passing further out the field.

After the break our lads continued in the same vein, with our defense working tirelessly to only concede 1-2 in the second half which provided our forwards with the foundation and possession for them to knock over a further 7 points to book our place in the final.

Final

The final itself is fixed for Saturday the 10th of October so keep the date in the diary. Be sure to get the flags and bunting on display to show your support.
