We played Balinacaragy in the last game of the group on Friday night last in Cusack Park. Already guaranteed a quarter final spot regardless of the result and with Balinacaragy trying to avoid a relegation play off it was always going to be a tough one to win. We started very bad and conceded two early goals putting us on the back foot from the off. We got ourselves back into the game gradually but unfortunately we were unable claw back the two goals we conceded in quick succession in the first few minutes. Richard O Brien made a big difference when he came in but in the end the motivation just wasn't there for the full hour and we lost on a scoreline of 3-15 to 2-9
