St. Pauls GFC Clonmellon News

August 20, 2015

Westmeath Junior Championship round 6.
Hard luck to the St. Pauls Junior footballers who slumped to their 2nd defeat in this year's Junior Championship when they were beaten this evening by a hungrier Kilbeggan team on a score line of St. Pauls 2-7 Killbeggan 4-12. And on Saturday last their championship ambitions for 2015 came to an end when they were bet by four points by Milltown. St. Paul's played arguably their best football of this year's championship in this game but they came up short in the end. St. Paul's GFC would like to thank their players and coaching staff for all their hard work and effort they put in this year - roll on 2016.

St. Pauls Juvenile Football.

Our Under 12's also recorded another impressive victory in their match versus Ballycomoyle played in Clonmellon winning on a scoreline of St. Ernan's 3-4 Ballycomoyle 2-3. Again, well done to all the players and their coaches.

Well done to our Under 14 footballers who recorded another emphatic victory by beating Inny Gaels on a scoreline of St. Ernan's 3-15 Inny Gaels 4-04. Well done again to the players and their coaches on a great result from all at St. Pauls GFC. The lads are out again next Sunday morning, August 23th at home against St. Mary Rochfortbridge. Throw-in is at 11:30am.
