We played Garycastle in the second last game in this league on Saturday evening last needing a win to remain in contention for promotion. The lads started well and maintained this for the majority of the game seeing of every attempt of a comeback from Garycastle. The end score was 1-13 to 0-9. Special mention must go to the man of the match Enda Boland who must have covered every blade of grass and won back possession at crucial times followed closely by the tight man marking and excellent reading from corner back Luke Kelly. We now play Shandonagh in the last game of this league and anything less than a win will not be enough so all support is appreciated.
