We hosted Mullingar Shamrocks on Friday evening last in Drumraney. Mullingar ran out comprehensive winners on the day with our lads never getting going at all.

Final score: Maryland 0-4 Mullingar 1-20

 

Lotto
No Jackpot winner and 2 match 3 winner in last week's draw were Joan Reynolds & Fiona McCormack. This week's draw was the last draw of our 2014 lotto and your support of our lotto during the year is greatly appreciated.

Our new draw will now start off with a jackpot of €7000. We hope you all renew your club lotto membership in the coming weeks. Your lotto promoter will be in touch with the entry forms.

Date for your Diary: Maryland/Tang Bowling night

Maryland/Tang are holding a bowling fundraiser on Friday May 1st in the Planet in Athlone. This promises to be an entertaining night and will raise some much needed funds for the underage club so come along and support the night.

 

Spring Clean Up

The Clean-up of our local roads takes place on this Saturday 18th Aprilcommencing at 10am. A meeting to organise the areas take place in the pastoral centre on Tuesday 14th April @ 8pm to organize. All help on the day is realty appreciated.

Walking Club
Maryland Walking Club had our first outing of the year to Derrycassan Wood in Granard. Thankfully the rain held off for the duration and it was an enjoyable experience for all that took part.  Next month's walk is planned for the Royal Canal from Ballymahon to Abbeyshrule, keep an eye on the notes for details.
